JONES to start 12th in Daytona!!

Amherstburg, Ontario native Terry JONES qualified the #30 Jones Group Racing Dodge for the ARCA RE/MAX Series Daytona 200 today and ended up 12th over all out of 64 cars.  He will start 12th in the 41 car field in tomorrow’s race which airs LIVE on the Speed Channel at 4:00PM.

JONES practiced 23rd overall in Thursday’s five hour practice.  “The car is great, the track is great,” he proclaimed after exiting the car following practice.

JONES did not participate in Happy Hour following today’s qualifying session.  “I’m satisfied with the car and I didn’t want to risk wrecking it”, he explained.  Happy Hour was marred by a wreck that forced two drivers, Ricky STENHOUSE JR and Bill BAIRD into backup machines for tomorrow’s event.
